Thanks Nigel,

but....

This kind of stuff is obviously "specialist" (read expensive!)
:-0

I really don't think I can employ my reverse-guilt technique on the wife
again (at least for a month or two!). So I might actually have a go at a
DIY
solution.

I was thinking along the lines of using some car speakers - the "sit
up &
beg" kind for mounting on the rear parcel shelf, as these are already
fully
enclosed in a pretty tough rigid plastic case, which is usually pretty well
sealed (apart from the front grille of course). They are available to suit
any budget - can be had from as little as £20/pair, and for not very much
more, (say about £60/pair) some half-decent quality ones can be had. This
would be more than hi-fi enough for my garden!

The hard bit is figuring out the best method of construction and
weatherproofing....

Any ideas anyone?

Paul G.
