RE: Pronto control of PC via TV

James,

I use a really simple method to do this:

1 x Pronto
1 x IR Keyboard (the interface part)
1 x Matrix Orbital 40 x 4 LCD display with PC AT Keyboard Interface.
1 x Avermedia AverKey 300
1 x Keene Modulator

The AverKey basically outputs the PC monitor screen to the modulator which
is fed into the cable RF signal to give me a tv channel for the PC. I use
the LCD with PC AT Keyboard input to display messages (and the current song
playing etc.) the AT keyboard input has the IR keyboard receiver plugged
into it and when I press a key on the Pronto (learned from the IR beyboard)
the character is sent up the serial line to the PC, my jukebox app reads
its input from the keyboard or serial port...

Hope this gives you some ideas

Andy
