hahaha.

It's actually more likely that the map is wrong, I used to work for a
company in Leeds that made a vehicle tracking system, displays the
vehicle's
route on a digital map. It worked fine, apart from when the truck went down
a certain part of the M6, it always seemed to leave the road at a certain
point. We even sent one of our salemen past it and tracked him, to be sure
it was staying on the mototrway.

Anyway, it turned out that on the OS maps of the M6 near Birmingham (and
several other places too) they move the road so they can print a place
name.
In this one place, it's up to 5 miles out!
