"Taboo" channels are ones you shouldn't use Paul.

In the example below....if Channel 31 is used in your area then you can't
use 22,26,30,32,36 or 40

n-9     n-5     n-1    n     n+1    n+5     n+9
22     26       30    31     32    36     40
