got a Windows machine to do that though! ;-)

I've still got Windows 3.1 on one drive for that very purpose- especially
in the early days it's nice to be able to look for solutions on the net
when it all goes completely pear-shaped- it doesn't happen as much now :-).
As Stuart (I think) has found out, it's also handy for testing hardware or
peripherals (like the ibutton thing) to see if they are working OK if the
supplied drivers etc are only for Windows.
