The personal guide would suite me - you can then see that this is a
practical (built) system which most people could adapt or use to re-design
for their own homes.

A faq would just give the theoretical view and still keep poeple wondering
how others are doing it.

The ideal thing I would want to see is a house plan with a wiring schematic
overlay.
