US PIRs

I was just wondering if there was a good reason why I shouldn't buy a
converted US reciever unit and US indor and outdoor Hawkeye PIRs. The US
versions are around 12 GBP whilst the UK/European ones are around 45 GBP.
Even with shipping and taxes I could get nearly 2 for the price of one!
Surely the only difference is going to be some crystal or something (I
actually don't know) that means the frequency is different.. So why the
high
price?

Andy
