I'm looking into scattering miniature cameras around the exterior of my
house for security monitoring purposes. Miniature cameras seem to come
in two variants - those with stubby little lens arrangements, and those
with 'pinhole' lenses.

Clearly pinhole lenses are inferior in some sort of way, but what
exactly
is the difference? Are these chaps acceptable, or are they dreadful
beyond belief?

Any pointers appreciated.

cheers
