It arrived as promised this lunchtime (ordered about 10 yesterday
morning.)

It just plugged into my running laptop, and worked straight off.=20

No-one at work is able to understand why I've got it, so I've resorted
to the explanation "I'm a nerd who likes techy toys." They accept
this

Thanks for passing this on. I've just called Scan, discovered that it
does have the "PS/2 style", costs =A339.95 including VAT and
delivery.

I have ordered one, and will feed back if people are interested (albeit
in a week's time, since I'm off skiing next week - don't get too
sympathetic!)
