I remember seeing a device that does exactly this. Anyone know
where to get it?

Thanks

Hello Mark

I have an oil tank behind the garage and I hardly ever see its level
indicator - so we run out of oil! Have you any ideas how I might
remote
the level of oil in my tank to the kitchen where a large red light or
something on the telly will have to come on to remind us to re-
order. I
have a telephone cable out to the garage which could be used to
provide
the link. I am thinking of a proximity switch activated by a cork
floating
on top of the oil in the level guage pipe (plastic). Do you know of
any
more robust ways of remoting the information to us in the house? I
don't
think I am quite ready for the tank to call the oil supplier on the
internet to come and top it up but - who knows?

Yours
Jeremy Williams
