SM> My question is, has anyone tried modifying a standard X-10
controller,

Speaking of mods, I got a couple of X10 radio PIRs in Canada very cheaply
but of course they run at 433MHz or whatever instead of the UK frequency.
Anyone have any source for replacement ferrite cores or other suggestions
to re-tune them?
