Keith, I also thought the about the kitchen terminal, I an I purchased a
touch screen for the job, However mine will just be text based,
unfortunately I have not even got the screen out of the box (its been
gathering dust for nearly 3 years).

I think that for use in the kitchen we will have to look at custom
computers
because of the special problems associated with the kitchen, Touch screens
would be ideal but as a OEM product they are very expensive in sample
quantities. Perhaps a palm pilot or a modified Psion 5 might be the answer.
