Saw this on a mailing list I receive and thought that it might
interest a few people given the recent threads both here,
on comp.home.automation and in the Homevision list.

I will be watching this with interest as it looks like it should be
possible to create a custom Standalone MP3  player that could
be located with your Hifi gear but fed with data from your home PC
network server.

By creating a low cost dedicated MP3 player you wouldnt have to
worry about the gaps in the music that occur on your PC as you are
doing other processor hungry work like hi-res graphics.
