I have had similar problems with X10 light switches. Normally these are the
result of using power tools (particularly a power drill). I can't recall
other problems - although I did have one unit that flickered constantly and
had to be replaced.

Is it the same light that comes on - mine where random.

Seasons Greetings,

I don't know whether anyone's still watching the group over Christmas,
but just in case...

I'm having difficulty with a UK X10 light switch that I've fitted. It
appears that it turns itself on sporadically - last night it managed it
twice. I've had my PC logging X10 traffic over the poweline and there
are no codes being sent that could cause it to come on.

Any ideas? Can random mains noise trigger it? Is the light upsetting it
somehow (I don't know whether the X10 light switches have a remnant
local on facility which is a little sensitive perhaps).

Post replies to Ray.Barnett@xxxxxxx please.

Merry Christmas everyone, and hope the Millenium Bug doesn't bite. I do
'cos I get overtime!
