No problem running back to anywhere along the existing daisy chain.
Start, middle or end...the same 3 wires are used between all the sockets
(2,3&5) but the incoming line is always across 2&5. Doesnt matter
where the
Master socket is either, the only difference between a Master and secondary
is the capacitor, resistor and surge arrestor(if fitted). If your existing
master socket is some distance away from Comfort and you want to run the
cable to comfort then simply back feed the bell wire (3) normally
ORANGE/White to the comfort panel and join it to the ORANGE/White of the
new
cable. The BLUE/White and WHITE/Blue connect to the existing pair going to
your other sockets.

I have assumed that you used the standard BT wiring colours but if you used
any different scheme then you will have to work it out yourself. Basically
for the sockets all the like numbered terminals should be connected
together
2-2-2-2 3-3-3-3 5-5-5-5 withthe line being attached to 2& 5 somewhere
:-))

Its best NOT to have 2 masters but it wont do any harm, if you are asking
because thats the type of socket you happen to have then just cut the
capacitor out of the socket. Dont worry about the resistor, its 470 kohm so
you wont notice any difference with or without it, but leave the surge
arrestor. The more protection you have on a phone line the better.

Hope that helps

Slightly off topic. I'm fitting a telephone point in the kitchen.
Currently all the extensions are daisy chained to Comfort's telephone
out. The easiest way I can see of wiring the kitchen in is to wire a
second cable in parallel to Comfort's output, and run this direct to the
kitchen.

Looking at the way telephones are wired, this seems OK to me, anyone
else care to comment.
Secondly, are there any issues to having 2 master sockets on one line?
