I can now confirm that this works ok. One of my colleagues loaned me his
VCR
so I could test it and it worked perfectly. (that's the cheaper way of
testing!).

Which brings me on to another point TVs/VCRs/HI-FI equipment seems to
be quite a bit cheaper here. Yet another UK rip-off??
