Re: MP3 Anywhere

Gets my vote too :-))

RF - prone to interference from other souces - limited range - a finite
amount of bandwidth available

IR -line of sight - blinded by strong sunlight - and other IR sources

Powerline - too much noise on the mains now - without deliberately adding
to it

Piece of cable - if it isnt damaged the signal always gets through and can
be totally immune to any external influence - almost infinite bandwidth -
if you run out of bandwith you just add another cable.

At work we have both IR and RF remote mice for Presenters to use for their
presentations and are constantly having problems. Watch the TV
weatherperson (very politically correct terminology) and the pressbutton
used for changing the weather slide is connected not by RF or IR but a good
old fashioned piece of WIRE :-))
