Discussion on this list or not?

Hi All

Last week (out of the blue) some interesting discussion started up
on this mailing list.

However, in a period of 3 days 9 people un-subscribed from the list,
obviously unhappy with the level of mail they were receiving.

While we still have over 200 subscribers, I'm concerned that this
trend will continue.  This list was created primarily for
announcements from the UK Home Automation web site and while
I have been enjoying the discussion, others clearly have not.

After talking it over with Keith Doxey we have come to the
conclusion that 2 lists might be the answer.  This list would stay
as it is and be used only for occasional announcements and
bulletines from me.   People would then have the option of also
subscribing to the second list where discussions like we saw last
week could take place.

Before I create the second list I would like to know YOUR opinion
on this.  Please email me with you comments or suggestions.
