Re: Video cards with composite video outputs

I bought an Averkey Plus from DM Computing. This is external and
converts VGA to PAL.

I chose this route to so that I could change my video card without
needing one with PAL output everytime.

It can output 800x600 or 640x480 and has a through connection so you can
still use it with your monitor without having to swap cables all the
time. When I get around to it I'm going to try running with two PCI
video cards one on the monitor and one on the telly.

I use it to provide caller display and home automation info on my
televisions. I use it with Linux, although it took a few hours playing
with SVGAtextmode trying to get a nice screen format.

It cost about =A3105 including VAT & delivery.
