Hi all

I've just picked up the thread of this automating radators exchange, and
have been looking for suitable solenoid operated valves for a while.

Has anyone got a source for these ?

Quite a few years ago there was a company in Cheltenham (Servicon Dynamics)
that were developing a system for central heading controls in hotels - they
were using the phone lines for control, so I'm sure it must be possible to
find a source for these valves.

The important thing is that they are cheap. My intention is probably
similar to other contributors to this subject, in that I want individual
control over each radiator, the difference is I'm implementing computer
control (using RS422 for a network) and I need to keep the per room cost
down as far as possible.

Any help out there ?

Thanks

Jerry
