Dan,
I've already done this with uplighter's (2x75W) on one LM12 at the front, and rear (2x50W) on another LM12 ( both on same code to dim all 4 lamps together).
The LM12's are rated to 300W so there is no problem with the load. First time I just used a multi adaptor, but now I've wired each pair to a single plug (they are protected by the same fuse in the plug).
In doing so I made sure the fuse rating was kept low, and if the fuse blows, the pair will go out.

I am thinking of having two uplighters at the back of my living room - is it safe/recommended to plug both of these into a single X10 lamp module (using an extension power cord)?  I want to be able to control the brightness of them as if they were one and I already have a lamp module lying around.

Thanks,
-Dan
