Chris my
thoughts
Your main high end Hifi
should go nowhere near Node Zero apart to feed aux feeds to and
from
The Amp to Speaker distance should be
reasonably short and it is this run that needs decent speaker
cable
It's a case of diminishing returns
but you can keep up grading this path until you can't hear the difference !!
You should also Bi wire this
run
As to the normal speaker feeds round
the
house mains cable seems to work a treat, anything else I think is pure
overkill
as the high end audiophile aspects of multi-room speaker system are non
existent
Just my 2d
worth

Subject: [ukha_d] Looking for
a
whole house Audio cable recommendation
Can
anyone give me some plain (non afficionado) advice on what kind of audio
cable
I need for running speakers back to Node 0.
42
strand oxygen free (OFC) has been mentioned. However my electrical
wholesalers
have come up with 50 strand x 0.25mm.
My
understanding
was that anything over 42 strand is overkill for jo public. Any
recommendations? The prices do vary so much.
Also
does it make sense to wire speakers back to node 0 AND to a points in the
same
room so as to make use of a DDAR?
