Their was someone else in the news a few years ago did the same.  The
council wouldn't let him have a driveway because it would mean he would
have to reverse out onto a busy road.  So he build a turntable and the
council had to give in and low the curbs for him.

Motorist builds driveway turntable to avoid reversing

A motorist has built a turntable on his driveway so he doesn't have
to reverse onto a busy road.

Keith Slater wanted to be able to enter and leave his Lambley home
driving forwards.

Now all he has to do is press a button and his car is turned to face
the right direction.

The 38-year-old told The Mirror: "I got the idea from train
turntables."
