Also forgot to say, I have 6 CCTV cameras connected at the moment and use a
bit of VB to switch between them and it is only 1 camera that has this
problem, think I will look harder for a solution, it is not the camera as I
made an adaptor so I can connect the cameras into the TV if I wish and it
is
okay there.

I don't doubt it is something I have done!

Shows how much I know......I do not think the card I had was a Win-TV but I
only had it a short while!

The resolution I could get with the Compaq's built in graphics card was
lowwwwww and I could not find any upgrade drivers, after all it is a
server!
therefore I thought I would have to go for a combined graphics/TV tuner
card.

Oops, just read my build notes and it was a Win-TV Card!!!! good job I am
now on leave for a week and a half, as I need a rest ;-))

I need TS so I shall have to think of something!

I currently have installed:-

ATI AIW Radeon
Smart 2DH Raid Controller
C-Labs Live Value Sound Card
Adaptec 2940 Ultra-wide SCSI card
3Com 3C905C Network Card (for my cable modem)
Equinox SST-8P Serial Adapter

I also have:-
Meteor Com1
CCTV Switcher	Com2
HVision Com3
UPS Com4
Com5 to Com10 Spare!

Hence no space! Busy little server aint it?

I also wanted to fit an ordinary modem but I will only do that if
necessary.

Take care,

B.

PS sorry for the delay replying been watching Desperate Measures, good
film.

The Win-TV card is by Hauppage :/

I don't understand what you mean by resulution problems? Do you mean you
couldn't capture at full TV resolution at a high enough frame rate?

The Brown hue and lines across the screen do not sound healthy? Have you
tried using a different composite source for testing?

The wintv card is a tuner only, no vga output, so no use to you if slots
are
at a premium.
