Again, same as the homeseer service. My DDAR service works fine.
Find SRVANY.EXE and create a ddar_service.reg file from the text below. Run
the .reg file, and it will run as a service on next reboot.
REGEDIT4
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\DDAR]
"Type"=dword:00000110
"Start"=dword:00000002
"ErrorControl"=dword:00000001
"ImagePath"="c:\\winnt\\system32\\srvany.exe"
"DisplayName"="DDAR"
"ObjectName"="LocalSystem"
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\DDAR\Parameters]
"Application"="c:\\Program Files\\Audio
Receiver\\armgr.exe"
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\DDAR\Enum]
"0"="Root\\LEGACY_DDAR\\0000"
"Count"=dword:00000001
"NextInstance"=dword:00000001

I tried these on win2k server to get DDAR server software running as a
service, but it doesn't work due to the fact that it needs to interact
with the screen. I don't have homeseer but it might suffer from the same
problem. If by any chance someone knows how to run DDAR server software
as a service I would be very interested.
