Steve,
Why not rip onto VCD
??
This can be done easily on any
home
CD writer and can be played back on most DVD
players. Take a look at http://www.vcdhelp.com
very good comprehensive site to
help with capture, edit and burning.
Regards,
Mark

a
PC
Guys I
know some of the recent threads about ripping DVD's etc may be
relevant to
this one has anybody got any recommendations for some hardware and software
to
rip a few short videos onto CD to watch on a laptop, part of a presentation
type scenario. Video footage would be about 15-20 mins long.
What
would the quality be like for replay? Would DVD be a better
option?
Is there anybody that can do this type of copying commercially - it
probably
wouldn't be worth me buys the stuff for a few once off jobs? I've
already
got an old video capture card, but no CD burner (It's dead), or
software.
The
laptop in question is a 600mhz P2 Celeron, 128mg, with 32X
cdrom.
