[KAT5] Sky SCART Switching

Slightly off-topic, but does anyone know whether its possible to use
a Sky or Sky HD box to act as a SCART switch?  I'm distributing my
satellite signal around the house over RF, and wondered if I could
use that to carry my DVD player signal as well.  I've connected the
DVD via SCART into the VCR SCART on the Sky box in the hope that when
the DVD player was witched on it would switch the digibox to show
that signal.  There is a SCART CONTROL option in the digibox, but I'm
guessing that's for the TV SCART on the digibox.  Am I missing a
trick here or barking up the wrong tree?
