KAT5 units are currently available for all forms of Analogue Video with the
exception of VGA.

RGBS, Component (Y-Cr-Cb), S-Video (Y-C) and Composite.

If you have Progressive Component output then that can be carried over KAT5
with no problems.

There arent currently any KAT5 products for Digital Video (either DVI or
HDMI) for a number of reasons...

1. I dont have any HDMI Kit! [Donations gratefully accepted :-)]
2. I do now have an LCD Minitor that will accept DVI but all my PC's are
still VGA out.
3. Still need to finish the switcher and get a VGA unit released.

There are some products already available for DVI/HDMI over CAT5 but due
the
the extremely high bandwidth of digital video (can be as high as 2.5GHz)
these use two cables, one for the video (which they recommend is a screened
cable) and one for the control signals (which can be ordinary CAT5)

All my development work will be concentrated on the getting the switcher
finished as soon as possible. The KAT5 units are now being manufactured for
me so freeing up my time for development and support rather than slaving
over a soldering iron churning out KAT5 units.

Keith
