KAT5 would work in the USA no problem.... BUT...

The connectors on the units are the SCART Euroconnector which isnt used in
the
USA so you would need custom units with Minidin and RCA jacks. These are
more
expensive than the standard units due to the extra work involved.

The current exchange rates that are working to the advantage of people here
in
the UK would make them VERY expensive in the USA.

You would also have to supply your own power supplies as I only have 240V
Wall
Warts designed for UK 13amp sockets
