Just. The real difference between CAT5e and CAT6 is that CAT6 should work
with full-duplex Gigabit ethernet...

... be aware, however, that at CAT6 installation depends on far more than
just using CAT6 cable as if it were CAT5e cable.

The installation standards for CAT6 are very high, and to actually acheive
CAT6 installation standard throughout is very difficult. Personally, I can
only punch down to CAT5 standards - the amount of "non-twisted
wire" you're
allowed at termination points is ludicrously small with CAT6.

Absolutely.

However, CAT6 will provide no material quality advantage over CAT5e for
KAT5
use. The KAT5 units are very well designed, and tolerant of the older
cabling standards back to CAT5...
