I forgot to say, I did this and there was no problems.
If your DNS server isn't updated then you get the old site/email to the
old address. If it is updated, you get redirected to the new one.
I just had to continue checking my old pop3 account for a few days in
case some DNS servers were a bit slow in updating.....
