Didnt get time to test it last night but will tonight.

IR Emitters were always going to be 3.5mm Jack for stick-on emitters.

I had also considered the same idea for the TSOP. Just need to find a
suitable enclosure for the receiver.

Keep watching this space :-)

Keith

Subject: [KAT5] IR Return...

So how did the tests go on the IR return this weekend?

Can I make a couple of requests? Is there any way that the IR
"output" and
"input" can be on 3.5mm jacks (a stereo jack I guess for the
input to allow
for Vcc, GND and Signal from the TSOP) so that the KAT5's don't have to be
in view *AND* so that when the switcher is in place then the IR control is
easier to route to the source component with a stick on IR emitter.

You've probably already done these of course Keith but at least I wanted
you
to think I was thinking of you.
